Today, ADEL exports its products to more than 45 countries worldwide. ADEL, specialized in wood-cased pencils, also manufactures pencil slats from poplar wood at its Giresun plant in Turkey. ADEL emphasizes quality as well as safety in its products. All products of Adel that are classified as toys comply with En-71 standards and all other products are also safe for human health. Since 1999 Adel has been holding ISO 9001 : 2000 / EN ISO 9001 : 2008 Certificate, latest one issued by TÜV NORD for its Istanbul plant.
With respect to the lately enacted REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulation within European Union, Adel has already completed pre-registration via appointing REACH Global Services SA (RGS) as the "Only Representative" to comply with the REACH regulation.
